1st Place! Syrena's first place!
Competition: Found Your Wings Event
Horse: WRC Syrena's Song 57
Rider: Savannah Demeadso
Savannah looked out the window of her room at USV. She had been staying at USV for a couple weeks and man, did she love it here. She felt more at home here strangely. Was is because she was part undead and this was the home place of her father and all the undeads. She wasn't judged by her black, yet beautiful, swirling markings of the undead. Her red and green eyes didn't confuse people. Here she was welcome, here...she was a legend. She was the first half undead half human to have survived birth.
Everyday Savannah would go to the stable and talk to the Gift of Live. A beautiful ancient water dragon that had given Savannah life. She saved Emily and gave Emily, Savannah and Intensity immortality. She was the main reason Savannah and her mother were breathing today. The two had a sisterly bond together.
Over the few weeks, Savannah started to take charge of USV while Nathalie was away. The staff took her seriously, as no one wanted to mess with the offspring of Skelton and a very close friend of Nathalie's. Seabuto and her had a new friendship and they took rides around the grounds and would talk. He told her of a competition Nathalie was going to host.
"The competitors will be given wings and be able to participate. Not a lot of pegasi are aloud to compete because of their wings" he said one day. Savannah was interested in this competition, especially since she had Syrena's Song, Tharo and Melchoir staying at USV with her. Of course, Syrena, would be the choice.
The day of the competition was hectic, Savannah helped Nathalie with everything plus getting her own horse and herself ready. When the dressage portion was ready Nathalie came over to all the horses and gave them a power that would give them wings during the round and then would fade away afterward. When she came to Syrena the mare snorted lifted her head and Nathalie nodded
"I'll wait till you all enter" Nathalie said winking. Savannah was confused but she nodded and waited her turn.
When they entered the ring, people murmured. Why wasn't this horse equipped with wings. Savannah looked around frantically. Syrena seemed to be hiding something as they went for the salute to the judges. Savannah bowed and Syrena did as well...and in the moment the crowd gasped loudly and Savannah looked up to see a beautiful wall of lights sprouting from Syrena's shoulders.
"Who needs wings when you have the northern lights!"
-I'm very much in love with this piece and of these two amazing characters!. I cannot stop drawing Syrena, its become a bad drug for me but I enjoy it too much!
